Those in need of a mobile phone and looking out for an eco-friendly solution, can take a peek at the LG Rumor Reflex being sold by Sprint and Boost Mobile. The latter will be offering the handset on a no-contract basis.
Playing the successor to the LG Rumor Touch launched last year, this piece of hardware sports a 3-inch WQVGA touchscreen along with a QWERTY keyboard. In terms of camera capabilities, a 2MP snapper and camcorder are affixed on the exterior of the device. Moreover, the new entrant arrives with built-in GPS as well as a microSD card slot supporting up to 32GB memory.

Some of the main aspects related to the eco-friendliness of the phone include its UL Environment Platinum Certification amongst others. Also, the device is Carbon-Free ratified, while a huge part of its external surface is cited to be crafted from recycled materials. Notably, the battery charger of this green gadget gives way for energy efficiency in terms of electricity draw after the fully juiced up handset is still plugged into the power socket.
The mobile device will be available in titan grey color, while its white variant should arrive at a later date. The Sprint LG Rumor Reflex price is tagged at $29.99 (approx. Rs. 1,500) with a $50 (approx. Rs. 2,500) mail-in rebate via reward card and a new two-year service agreement. It will be sold from March 11 at Sprint retail channels and on the official site.
The Boost Mobile LG Rumor Reflex price is marked at $79.99 (approx. Rs. 4,000) without a contract. It will be up for grabs from March 29 onwards at the carrier’s selected retail stores and on its official web portal.
