Most of the specs incorporated into the phone are expected to match that of the original Android cookie’s. Nevertheless, a refreshed form factor sporting a sleek body claims to offer a smooth experience to owners. The 4.65-inch HD Super AMOLED display with 720p x 1280p resolution and the 1.2GHz dual core processor stay right in place. With HSPA+ connectivity, users should encounter fast web browsing, even while on the move.
Simon Stanford, UK and IRE Telecommunications and Networks Division, cited, “After much speculation, we are pleased to announce the availability of the Galaxy Nexus White which follows the great reception the phone has received since it was launched back in November. A 5MP camera on the white Samsung Galaxy Nexus should serve well for photography buffs and there’s a 1.3MP front snapper for video conferences. The Face Unlock attribute unleashes a cool way to activate the handset by means of face recognition technology. A revamped and user-friendly interface along with Android Beam, Wi-Fi hotspot capability and NFC support complete the key mentions regarding the smartphone. What’s more, it is duly integrated with Google+ allowing for convenient social networking between pals and family members.
Like we’ve already mentioned, the white Samsung Galaxy Nexus is expected to hit shelves in the UK on February 13. The official price and availability details have not received a mention as of now, though it will most probably carry the familiar £459.99 (approx. Rs. 37,800) label.
