It seems like the next Galaxy phone unleashed at the Mobile Unpacked event may just be gearing up for a globetrotting escapade, as we have managed to get a hint of the Samsung Galaxy S III India release date. If the speculations are to be believed, it may be made available in the country during the first week of June, that’s next month. It is slated to start shipping in the UK from May 29.
The details regarding the device’s release and also the price were revealed by NDTV Gadgets. This flagship Samsung phone tries to take on the iPhone 4S with features like S Voice, Smart stay, Smart alert and more, that offer interactive properties to the smartphone. Its multitasking capabilities can be attributed to the quad core Samsung Exynos Quad processor, while it is powered by the Android Ice Cream Sandwich platform that tags along various Google Mobile services. Needless to say, it facilitates web browsing as well as accessing the Google Play Store.
The S III dons a 4.8-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen of 1280 x 720p resolutions on its sleek chassis that measures not more than 8.6mm in thickness. It comes drenched in shades of pebble blue or marble white and flaunts a curvy form factor. Armed with an 8MP camera, it allows users to engage in video conferencing over the web with a little assistance from the front-facing 1.9MP webcam.
The Samsung Galaxy S III India release date is supposedly scheduled for the first week of June. It may be priced at around Rs. 38,000.
