Dual SIM BLU Products Vivo 4.3 unfurled, kicks in Super AMOLED Plus display

With claims of being the world’s first dual SIM smartphone to comprise the Super AMOLED Plus technology and a dual core processor, the BLU Products Vivo 4.3 was unveiled in the US recently. Garnished with a slice of Ice Cream Sandwich, this 3G/HSPA-enabled handset is all set to hit retail outlets in the US during the month of September this year.

The Vivo 4.3 will be sold as a non-contract unlocked device. It features a button-less front which has been embedded with a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus display. The device is run by a MediaTek MT6577 dual core 1GHz Cortex-A9 CPU, and while 3G/HSPA connectivity is enabled, no LTE option is provided with it.

Samuel-Ohev-Zion, CEO of BLU Products, commented, “We are extremely excited as we continue to pioneer the growing demand of Dual SIM handsets in emerging markets by offering the most outstanding Dual SIM smartphone available anywhere in the world today. Additionally, this is the first in a series of exciting new Android devices we will be announcing, as we are actively and aggressively moving towards providing high performance, affordable smartphones to the ever growing unlocked no-contract segment in the United States.”

The multimedia capabilities of the Viva 4.3 are highlighted by its 8MP rear camera which even comprises support for HD video recording and playback. Described as a true dual SIM handset, this smartphone allows both SIMs to be active at the same time, enabling users to receive calls simultaneously.

The BLU Products Vivo 4.3 price is tagged at $249.99 (approx. Rs. 13,860). It is slated to arrive in the US this September. Following this launch, it will also be made available in Latin America and parts of Asia.
