Being the latest addition to the carrier’s 4G smartphone lineup, the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 LTE EE release date has been scheduled for October 15. This handset will join the Galaxy S3, the One XL and the Ascend P1 LTE that are currently up for grabs via the Orange and T-Mobile retail and online stores in the UK.

Moving on to the specifications of the smartphone in question, it munches on the Jelly Bean platform and flaunts a 5.55-inch HD Super AMOLED display that offers a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The 1.6GHz quad core processor pairs with 2GB of RAM for multitasking, while users can choose between either 16GB, 32GB or 64GB of internal memory for hoarding content. Other key features include an S Pen, an 8MP AF primary camera, a 1.9MP secondary snapper, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, NFC and a 3,100mAh battery.

Through the 4G LTE service adopted by EE, users will be able to browse the web quickly, download HD movies and even stream multiplayer games. This brand is said to be a blend of the Orange and T-Mobile networks. As per the company’s claims, the service will render 5 times more speed as compared to 3G. The carrier plans to launch this connectivity option on October 30, allowing 4G-ready handset owners to switch to the latest 4G EE plan or stick to the existing 3G network.
