The Android Ice Cream Sandwich based HTC One series smartphones comprising the One X, One S and One V which were unveiled at the MWC, have hit pre-order status through Clove in the UK. While the first two are expected to start shipping from April 5, the last mentioned will only be dispatched towards the end of the next month.
First up is the HTC One X, that employs a powerful quad core processor running at a speed of 1.5GHz. Fitted with a 4.7-inch multi-touch 1280 x 720p screen, the multimedia-ready device boasts of being deployed with the Beats Audio technology. It is available in shades of white and grey and features 32GB onboard memory in addition to 25GB cloud storage, free of charge for two years. Also included are an 8MP camera and a 1.3MP front facing webcam.
The second handset that forms a part of this series is the One S, fueled by a 1.5GHz dual core processor. It dons a 4.3-inch AMOLED display and tags along 16GB onboard memory along with free 25GB Dropbox storage for two years. Similar to its aforementioned counterpart, this Dr. Dre certified smartphone features an 8MP primary camera and a 1.3MP front facing imager.
And finally, the One V that is slated to start shipping from April 26, draws power via a 1GHz processor. It flaunts a 3.7-inch WVGA touchscreen and 5MP camera with LED flash to capture high definition 720p videos. This phone is also embedded with an expansion slot for a microSD card in order to increase the memory.
The HTC One X, One S and One V price and availability details are as follows – the first two can be picked up from April 5 for €590 (approx. Rs. 38,565) and €539.89 (approx. Rs. 35,290), respectively. The One V carries a price tag of €316.74 (approx. Rs. 20,700).
