The Nokia Asha 309 is now available and its price in India that’s less than Rs. 6000, makes it an apt contender for users who do not require a smartphone. This device belonging to the Asha range allows users to keep themselves entertained on the move with as many as 40 EA games such as Tetris, Bejeweled, Fifa 2012 and Need for Speed The Run amongst others.
Equipped with the Series 40 operating system, the device’s front panel is draped by a 3-inch capacitive TFT LCD WQVGA multi-touch screen that can render images in 240 x 400p resolution. The feature phone is blessed with a 2MP camera that comes with attributes such as digital zoom, fixed focus, self timer, image editor and even records videos at the rate of 13 frames per second.
The Asha 309 which has dimensions of 54 x 109.9 x 13 millimeters, crams in 20MB internal storage, 128MB ROM and 64MB of RAM. Along with this, it has been embedded with an expansion slot for a microSD card, allowing users to hoard digital content of up to 32GB capacity. Furthermore, the GSM mobile device boasts of built-in Wi-Fi and support for GPRS, WAP and EDGE networks. It is pre-loaded with Nokia Maps 2.0 and has a 1110mAh battery to cough up the juice for talk time of about 9 hours in the 2G mode.
Price details of the Nokia Asha 309 have been revealed. E-retailers like Flipkart and Snapdeal are selling the device for Rs. 5,768 and Rs. 5,990 respectively.
