Curvy HTC Explorer launched in India

HTC ExplorerThe newest arrival in the smartphone market is the HTC Explorer which made its debut in India. The curvy and compact device equips a 3.2-inch HVGA touchscreen along with a 3MP camera.

The HTC Explorer handset employs the HTC Sense user interface that is said to deliver defined graphics, vibrant animations, a vast collection of widgets and an immersive weather experience. The smartphone comes incorporated with a customizable lock screen which serves as a real-time window to users’ most important data and content like social updates, photos, weather or stock updates. Such information can be viewed by simply turning the display on.

HTC Explorer is simply a smarter phone for anyone and it represents another clear demonstration of HTC’s global commitment to expanding the market for advanced smartphones.”

Offering an optimal web browsing experience, the device integrates support for Adobe Flash and gives users access to the innumerable apps available in the Android Market. The HTC handset features a Smart Dialer which displays a one-touch menu helping users to dial from their contacts in an easier and quicker manner.

The HTC Explorer will be available across India in navy, metallic and active black colors from the fourth quarter of this year. Although the smartphone is said to be an affordable one, its price has not yet been revealed.
