HTC Sensation XE Smartphone

The HTC Sensation XE smartphone has made an appearance on the product page of Clove and its first stock is expected to hit UK on October 7. The Gingerbread powered handset which is an enhanced version of the HTC Sensation, has undergone various improvements and now boasts of Beats Audio and a 1.5GHz processor.

The device is splashed with shades of red and black to complement the urBeats in-ear headphones, packaged along with the smartphone. Featuring HTC Sense, it operates on the Google Android 2.3 platform. It is fuelled by a dual-core processor in addition to the 768MB RAM and 4GB eMMC ROM. Further, the slab is fitted with a 4.3-inch QHD Super LCD capacitive multitouch display of resolution 540 x 960.

The lightweight HTC Sensation XE tips the scale at 160 grams. Besides a front facing VGA camera, it employs an 8 megapixel shooter featuring dual LED flash which is capable of recording HD videos of resolution 1080p. The microSD expansion slot supports memory card of capacity up to 32GB. The smartphone is equipped with a 1730mAh battery to offer an extended power life of up to 550 minutes of talktime.

The DLNA certified device offers connectivity options which are inclusive of Bluetooth, IEEE 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi as well as 3G capabilities. Also, it comes with micro USB port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Needless to say, it provides access to Android Market and tags along Google Mobile services like YouTube, Google Search, Gmail and more.

The HTC Sensation XE smartphone carries a price tag of £410 (approx. Rs. 30,907) excluding taxes.
