Well, there’s no official announcement as of yet but a teaser video on YouTube says the Samsung Galaxy S II smartphone is soon arriving in the U.S. According to the video released by Samsung, this smartphone has made it pretty big in the countries it was released in earlier and conquering the the United States seems to be its next move.

The video very effectively and interestingly drives its point home that the smartphone has been successful in major parts of the world. At the end, the device simply informs about its plans of ‘being big in America.’ According to various speculations, it will debut in association with at least seven networks in the country. Further details about the release are expected to be revealed by next week.

Furthermore, the smartphone gearing up to be unveiled is not the same as the one released all over the globe. Though we see the familiar looking S II throughout the teaser, this video ends with an image of a different phone with the same name tag. Apparently, the phone up for release is a lesser curvy variant with four keys on the front side as opposed to one key on the original handset.

The sleek device employs a 1.2GHz dual core processor under the hood and is equipped with a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED plus display. It boasts of an 8MP rear-facing camera with a built-in flash in addition to a 2MP front-facing webcam. It operates on the Google Android 2.3 platform and offers access to the Android Market.
