The Cliq 2 was lately captured in high-resolution running an Android operating system and boasting of its honeycomb-style keyboard. Now, Motorola Mobility and T-Mobile have officially released its latest Cliq 2. Featuring a 3.7” touchscreen, this new smartphone merges the experience of Android 2.2 with MotoBlur social connectivity.

The 3G-enabled device empowers users to take advantage of its quicker speeds on the T-Mobile 4G network. Its 1GHz fast processor offers a robust and a smooth performance. Exquisitely designed, the trendy keyboard puts forth a comfortable usage while typing. Users can access the Internet using the Wi-Fi capability which allows users to stay connected while on the go.

Cliq 2 is what these consumers are looking for, delivering on what it means to truly stay connected on their terms,” shared Alain Mutricy, senior vice president, portfolio and device product management, Motorola Mobility. “With business-ready features and robust entertainment options, Cliq 2 users will be able to make the most of every moment.”

The impressive Motorola Cliq 2 comes with three sets of homescreens which include easy access to and customization of numerous apps, shortcuts and widgets. This DLNA-enabled offering empowers users to access over 100,000 applications and games from the Android Market. Moreover, it is embedded with the Adobe Flash Player, Blockbuster On Demand application and Amazon Kindle app.

For business users, the handset employs several calendar capabilities as well as equips a corporate directory and the Quickoffice. Owners can connect to their contacts using LinkedIn as well. Interestingly, the smartphone has Wi-Fi hotspot capabilities which enable connection to the Internet from multiple devices. A remote locate, SD card wipe and SD card encryption are also planked in.

The Motorola Cliq 2, dressed in titanium with a smoke gray finish, is expected to be available through T-Mobile store shelves beginning January 19.
