Running on the latest Windows Phone 7.5 operating system (Mango), Fujitsu and Toshiba are all set to put forth the water- and dust-proof IS12T smartphone. This device claims to offer better functionality than most of the traditional smartphones.

This handset features 32GB of internal memory and cutting edge 13.2MP camera. Users are enabled to store and share data via Windows Live SkyDrive, a free cloud service by Microsoft, besides reading and editing Microsoft Office documents.

The IS12T incorporates support for the latest web browser for PCs, Internet Explorer 9, to offer users numerous applications and advanced technology. It is equipped with GPS, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR and 3.7-inch WVGA screen.

Powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8655 system, the smartphone comes in striking colors such as magenta, citrus yellow and black. It integrates support for HTML5 and enhanced multitasking along with functions like a conversation view for emails, threads view for SMS/MMS, Facebook chats, IMs, Office 365 and Bing with Local Scout. Mango also adds dancing Xbox Live avatars and better connectivity with Twitter and LinkedIn.

The Windows Phone IS12T smartphone is expected to hit markets in Japan after September. However, the pricing details are unclear.
