BestBuy has rolled out the Insignia Connected Television that touts to be unique with its exclusive combination of internet connectivity and free of cost TiVo user interface as it works without a subscription. Along with a number of videos and movie streaming services, this HDTV can be used to gain access to a number of social networking websites.
The simple to use television connects to online services as well as broadcast entertainment in a few easy steps. Its TiVo Design interface sans a subscription claims to deliver a perfect television experience to viewers at no extra cost. Fitted with an LED HD screen of resolution 1080p, it is equipped with Audyssey and SRS technology.

The streaming services supported by the TV are inclusive of popular ones like Netflix, Pandora and Napster, CinemaNow, plus popular entertainment, YouTube and more. Further, the device supports Rocketboost facilitating wireless digital audio input and output to certain speakers like Insignia Soundbar and Rocketfish Outdoor.
In addition to this, users have an option to access the social networking websites like Twitter, Facebook along with numerous other applications like Reuters News, Photobucket and Accuweather. This is possible with the pre-loaded chumby network which can also be customized for a range of other applications.
The Insignia Connected TV comes in two screen sizes of 32-inch and 42-inch priced at $499 (approx. Rs. 21,980) and $699 (approx. Rs. 30,795), respectively. Both variants are up for grabs through BestBuy.
