There’s a great new way to capture those precious moments without having to own a digital camera. Vodafone recently snapped up the 12MP camera-equipped Nokia N8 smartphone in the UK. Users can click high quality pictures, connect to their favorite social networks and enjoy personalization with three different home screens thanks to the advanced features of this phone.
A 3.5†touchscreen adorns this latest Nokia handset with Carl Zeiss lens and a 12MP camera for crisp shots. Shooting at night is also made brighter and clearer with N8’s Xenon flash. The phone also lets users edit, add text and music to the photos without any special software.
The N8 enables users to access their social networking accounts when on the go while making the phone contacts much more organized. Tweets, email and Facebook details of each person are stored in their profile.
Personalization seems to be the key with the features offered by this phone. The N8 sports three home screens to separate users’ work, friends and other information. The apps, widgets and web bookmarks can further be tailored for easy use by the mobile enthusiasts.
The phone additionally offers a 16GB built-in storage to add as many songs in the MP3 player, videos and entertainment for music aficionados via a microSD card. This Bluetooth-enabled phone also presents PC sync and GPS built-in navigation functionality. The N8 is compatible with Vodafone Sat Nav and is 3G enabled with HDSPA technology.
As of now, Vodafone has not yet revealed the pricing and availability of the Nokia N8.
