LG has extended the line by introducing two new entrants, namely, the Cookie Fresh GS290 and Cookie Plus GS500v mobile phones. The handsets are designed to satiate the unquenchable social networkers among mobile phone users.
The Cookie Fresh is equipped with a 7.6cm WVGA full touchscreen and a 2MP camera with MPEG 4 video recording capabilities. Users can also edit and personalize the recorded videos. Music lovers can enjoy MP3 tracks through the 3.5mm earphone jack. Additionally, the phone integrates a built-in wireless FM tuner and recorder. The handset features a Speed Dial as well as a three-way interface that helps users customize their home screens.

The phone is attributed with the LiveSquareT that lets users assign avatars to their contacts. What’s more, owners can let their creativity run wild with editable screenshot MMS.

The 3G enabled Cookie Plus shares most of its characteristics with the Cookie Fresh apart from hosting a 3MP camera. This phone features a cartoon-styled UI with 18 animated color themes and supports apps available through the LG Widget Gallery. Players can indulge in intense gameplay with the phone’s Motion gaming and Motion Silence functionality too. Incoming calls can be silenced by merely flipping the phone on its front side.
The LG Cookie Fresh GS290 can be purchased for Rs. 6,199 and the LG Cookie Plus GS500v will be available for Rs 7,990.
