A lot has been said about the Motorola Charm handset since the company unveiled it. Mobile phone buffs can finally lay their hands on the smartphone as Best Buy puts it up for grabs online. Equipped with a QWERTY keypad, this Bluetooth ready gadget flaunts a 3.2MP camera which also records videos at 24fps.
The gadget is powered by the Android 2.1 platform and is fitted with a 2.8†TFT touch display. Users are provided with an in-built music player that supports AAC, H.264, MP3, MPEG-4, WMA9 and more audio formats. The handset integrates the Android HTML WebKit browser as well as Motoblur capability.
Not only can owners access online content but also avail of a host of apps through Google and the Android Market. The gadget also allows users to manage their personal and corporate e-mail accounts. The device runs on an 1170mAh Li-ion battery and offers 2GB of storage capacity through the integrated microSD card.
Additionally, users can expand the internal memory of the gadget by up to 32GB. The dimensions on this device read at about 67.2mm x 98.4mm x 11.4mm. The Motorola Charm weighs approximately 110gms and is dressed in golden bronze and cabernet shades.
Although the release date of the Motorola Charm MB502 smartphone is still under wraps, Best Buy has made the gadget available for online sale. The handset can be picked up for $249.99 (approx. Rs. 11,550).
