Samsung to introduce the B3310 slider phone

Samsung B3310 Handset

Samsung is gearing up to launch yet another handset called the B3310 after its recent announcement of the Samsung Gravity 2. According to Ubergizmo, this weird looking handset features a slide out QWERTY keypad. But the first thing users will notice about this phone is the girlish pink color and the numeric keypad that adorns its visage.

Reportedly, the B3310 will boast of a 2.1-inch display with a resolution of 176 x 220 pixels. The numeric keypad of this phone has been arranged in a unique vertical arrangement on the right side of the screen. The B3310 will provide support for GSM/GPRS connectivity as well. The phone promises to provide quick access to social networking sites like Facebook, Flicker and MySpace too.

The handset also includes a built-in audio player and stereo FM radio. The 2 megapixel camera also supports video recording. The other notable features of the B3310 include Bluetooth connectivity, 40MB internal memory and support for the microSD card slot.

The Samsung B3310 is expected to launch in the UK soon while the other markets will see the phone by mid-September. There is no official word as yet on the release date. The pricing details of this phone are also well guarded. But we still hope that this phone will come our way soon.
