T-Mobile unveils the Sidekick LX 2009, the latest version of the messaging device and is now available for purchase, says Slashgear. Reportedly, it claims to the first phone in its range to support 3G.

This GPS enabled device allows access to various social networking sites like Facebook and MySpace and is GPS enabled.

The battery of the phone delivers 5.5 hours of talk time or 8 days of standby time. The 3.2 megapixel camera incorporates auto-focus and flash along with support for video recording and geotagging.

The all new Sidekick is reportedly made available with a full QWERTY keyboard and a 128MB microSD card. The memory of the phone is supposedly expandable up to 8GB. Apparently, this phone also comes with a 3.2” display screen with 854 x 480 resolution.

The T-Mobile Sidekick LX 2009 is said to be available for order on the company’s official website in a carbon and an orchid finish. This messaging device is expected to be priced at $249.99 (approx Rs.12, 440) after an instant discount of $150 and a mail-in rebate of $50 along with a two year agreement.
