Sony Ericsson S312 Mobile Phone Launched: Now Capture Memories on to Video and Pictures

It comes embedded with a 2.0 megapixel video camera that allows you to record beautiful moments virtually anytime and anywhere. All you need is a sharp eye and the dedicated video camera key will do the needful!

Moreover, Sony Ericsson has incorporated various camera-dedicated features for users to take a perfect picture. You are allowed to capture an image in a horizontal format and also take full advantage of up to 2.5x digital zoom, video recording capability, PictBridge printing, photo light and video light. The S312 also comes with illuminated imaging shortcuts to capture shots with ease, Photo fix function to enhance the picture quality and Picture blogging to upload captured images on the internet.

Like an easy way of taking snaps, the phone also promises to offer a simple method of sharing the still images with others via Bluetooth connectivity. In case you want others to check your picture blog, then you can even send the web address without any hassles.

Some of the other features of the Sony Ericsson S312 handset include a 2-inch screen with a resolution of 176 x 220 pixels, a media player, equalizer, stereo widening, PlayNow, TrackID, Bluetooth stereo (A2DP) and music tones that support MP3 and AAC file formats. It offers 3D games, Java and FM radio with RDS as well.

Besides, it works on Openwave web browser, modem and USB for mass storage. The handset has up to 15 MB of onboard memory and supports memory stick micro to enhance storage capacity. It stands at 100 x 46 x 12.5 mm of dimensions and weighs 80 grams.

Plus, the S312 comes bundled with the new Sony Ericsson Clip-on Bluetooth Handsfree VH300 that ensures rich sound while handsfree calling. It provides one-touch call handling, handy volume control and an ultra discreet reversible clip-on and a talktime of 10 hours along with 250 hours of standby time.

Shinning in the dawn blue and honey silver colors, the Sony Ericsson S312 is based on GSM/GPRS/EDGE/900/1800 and is slated to hit the shelves in the selected markets by Q2 2009. The Clip-on Bluetooth Handsfree VH300 will be available in Q3 2009. The price is not yet announced though.
