Acer’s F900 smartphone which made its debut at the Mobile World Congress is all set for a UK release. This smartphone is a part of the Acer Tempo Smartphone Series.
Acer F900 is specially designed to make the Internet attractive and easily accessible. The 3.8 inch wide VGA screen is capable of displaying images and videos in fine detail along with displaying more content of the web page. It comes with pre-loaded Internet Explorer 6 with java script and Adobe Flash Lite, which further enhances the display of the web pages.
The 3.75G HSDPA/HSUPA connectivity increases the data transfer speed enabling users to enjoy rich multimedia, streamed content, messaging and instant search features. The F900 is claimed to be the perfect solution for better Internet connectivity. This Acer smartphone also comes equipped with Google mobile services like Google Search, Google Maps, and YouTube.
The F900 incorporates the Acer 2.0 User Interface that allows the user to easily navigate through the phone. It also gives faster and direct access to applications which are frequently used. The virtual easy keyboard makes writing e-mails and messages simpler than before.
The Acer F900 smartphone is currently on display at the Computex 2009 and will be available in UK for a price of £429 (approx. Rs.33,055).
