Velocity Micro announces desktop PCs with Intel Core i7-950 and Core i7-975 Extreme

Velocity Micro has already grabbed the Intel Core i7-950 and Core i7-975 Extreme Edition processors. The company is offering these processors with its select home, office and high performance custom built desktops.

The Core i7-975 Extreme Edition is capable of running up to four applications at a speed of 3.33GHz each. This processor is said to be ideal for gaming and digital media editing, thanks to the unlocked multiplier that makes it a highly overclockable processor.

These Velocity Micro PCs will be available for a starting price of $1,800 (approx. Rs.84,990).
