LG unveils the new LG Chocolate phone

LG Chocolate phoneUsers can now explore and enjoy their big box of chocolate. LG Electronics officially announced the launch of the new LG Chocolate phone namely the LG-BL40 that is the fourth handset of the Black Label Series.

This phone boasts of a 4.0-inch wide screen HD LCD which is designed with curved tempered glass and is encased in a glossy black finish. It exhibits a pixel resolution of 800 x 345 for high-end viewing quality. The wide screen with aspect ratio 21:9 modifies it making it a class apart from other screen designs. The enlarged screen provides users with an efficient and convenient mobile environment.

“The initial response to the new LG Chocolate phone has exceeded our expectations by a wide margin,” said Dr. Skott Ahn, CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications. “Although much interest seems focused on the striking shape of the handset, the real surprise will be when people discover the advantages of the 4.0-inch screen in terms of viewing pleasure and ease of use.”

Internet browsing is also now made easy. There is no need to scroll horizontally to read web pages with 800 pixels at the user’s disposal. The handset additionally features a Dual Screen UI that displays two different types of content at the same time.

The HD LCD ‘Real VGA’ screen also provides users with a wide variety of natural colors for displayed images. This makes images more crisp, videos more realistic, and games more high-powered.

The new LG Chocolate will be available beginning Q3 in 54 countries. The price has however not yet been revealed.
