Verizon launches LG enV3, enV Touch and Glance

Verizon and LG have decided to spice up the summer with three new mobile phones, LG enV3, LG enV Touch and LG Glance. All these phones offer text, picture and voice messaging options.

These devices are said to support Bluetooth headset, mobile email, web, instant messaging and chat applications. These phones also allow users to access the VZ Navigator application. Object push for vCard and vCall, phonebook access, chaperone and ability to store up to 10 contacts as favorites are some of the other features possessed by these devices.

The LG enV3 and enV Touch come embedded with a full QWERTY keyboard to ease typing. The HTML web browser simplifies the procedure to access the web. The memory for these phones can be expanded up to 16 GB via a microSD card. Media Center can store and download music, games and more. Music can be downloaded from V CAST Music with Rhapsody.

The LG enV Touch features 3.2 megapixel camera, 3-inch internal screen and 3-inch external touchscreen. It is also capable of reading documents in several file formats including .doc, xls, ppt and pdf. The LG enV3 features 3.0 megapixel camera, 2.60-inch internal screen and 1.56-inch external screen. The bar-shaped LG Glance comes with a woven metal back plate and a 1.3 megapixel camera.

The LG enV3 is now available while the LG enV TOUCH and LG Glance will be made available from June 5 via Verizon Wireless. All the three handsets come with a two year customer agreement. The LG enV3 is priced at $129.99 (approx. Rs.6, 100) after a $50 mail-in rebate, the LG enV TOUCH will cost $149.99 (approx. Rs.7, 040) after a $70 mail-in rebate and the LG Glance comes with a price tag of $49.99 (approx. Rs.2, 350) after a $50 mail-in rebate.
