Panasonic Mobile Communications has announced the shipment of its new phone with DMB TV capabilities, dubbed P905iTV, to enhance the VIERA series. The company is rolling out it through NTT DoCoMo.
Boasting to be the first ‘One-segment’ mobile TV phone, the VIERA P905iTV features a media player, 3.5-inch full wide VGA screen and has the ability to display high quality images at 30 fps, by adopting frame conversion technology from 15 to 30 fps. It has been developed by combining the design concept of Panasonic large-screen flat-panel TV ‘VIERA’ and its high-quality picture technologies.
The slider handset includes Panasonic’s original high-resolution technologies, Mobile PEAKS PROCESSOR and Mobile Double Contrast AI, ensuring a high contrast ratio of 4000:1. It comes with 3G international roaming and HSDPA support, an autofocus 2.0 megapixels camera with six-axis image stabilizer and link functions to audio and visual equipment.
Moreover, the P905iTV integrates LCD Artificial Intelligence to automatically adjust the brightness of a display and advanced system LSI based on “UniPhier” for mobile phones, delivering eye-friendly pictures and saving electric power.
Measuring 113 X 53 X 17.9 mm and weighing 129 grams, the mobile TV phone is compatible with Bluetooth and up to 4GB External Memory Device microSD / micro SDHC memory card.
Available in black and white colors, the Panasonic VIERA P905iTV DMB TV Phone offers 230 minutes of talktime, 660 hours stand-by and 7 hours of watching TV on a single battery charge.
