Nokia 5320 and 5220 XpressMusic Phones Announced

Nokia 5320 and 5220 XpressMusic Two new mobile phones have been launched by Nokia, enhancing the XpressMusic portfolio. Called Nokia 5320 XpressMusic and Nokia 5220 XpressMusic, the handsets refresh ones’ mind with music and entertainment features.

Both the XpressMusic models support the Nokia Music Store to choose from over 2 million tracks from both major and independent labels, international and local artists; simply browse, download, stream and sync either to a PC or side-load directly to a mobile device.

According to Jo Harlow, Vice President, LIVE category, Nokia, “Our XpressMusic range of devices continues to deliver the combination of superior music experiences and fresh, innovative designs. Today’s additions to the XpressMusic range up the ante with new ways for consumers to access their media as well as interact and share content with friends and communities anytime, anywhere.”

The Nokia 5320 XpressMusic has 3G social entertainment capabilities with web 2.0 browsing, and voice-controlled Say and Play feature that automatically plays the music after saying the name of a favorite artist or song. The other music specs include dedicated XpressMusic keys, a 3.5mm audio jack and an audio chip for hi-fi sound quality. It supports extendable memory up to 8GB, HS-USB for fast music transfer and HSDPA for fast access to data. You can enjoy up to 24 hours of playback time.

Users have the freedom to access Ovi and Nokia Search 4.1 to look out for and share media content and information. It also carries dedicated N-Gage gaming keys and landscape view for an amazing gaming experience by using HSDPA.

The Nokia 5220 XpressMusic incorporates lanyard feature for convenience while traveling. Like the 5320, the 5220 also offers up to 24 hours playback time, dedicated XpressMusic keys and a 3.5mm audio jack.

However, the other basic features of these mobile phones have not been mentioned.

Expected to start shipping in Q3 of 2008, the Nokia 5320 XpressMusic and the Nokia 5220 XpressMusic would retail for an estimated retail price of 220 EUR and 160 EUR respectively.

    They are losing market soon.

    Front camera is very attractive..

    this model is not competative with other. because it doesn’t have much facilility.
    Battery backup is ? So launch any good mobile.
    that should have good battery backup & multiple slim slot.
    So that one person can use more than 2 simcard.

    nokia 5320 xpress music is a great multimedia phone which runsa on s60 generation feature pack 2 , i would say it is faster than s40 or any other java os handsets, it is a must buy phone and is economical. it has all the great features, motorola phones are dummy phones,

    Nokia 5220 has great effects on external speakers..
    i wonder so sleek model plays strong o/p o sound..

    processing o phone increased..Tats good..
    but. don’t ask me about earphones effect..
    as nokia is poor in this..
    cant beat sony..

    having problem with nokia 5220.Takes a lot of time to access memory card and often freeze.Have to turned off.
    sometimes cannot access 2 applications at the same time.freeze again.please help.
    i already format my memory card twice.

    having problem with 5320. sound quality is not good. battery performance low. hardly 1.30hrs talk time. nokia 5320 is not a good phone

    same problem with nokia 5220,cant be a music phone because
    dont have a quality in ear phone and battery backup is not up
    to the mark,i can say can’t beat sony ericsson.
