Toshiba announces G-Series Mobile Phones in Europe

Reportedly, Toshiba has launched its G series mobile phones in the European market. The new arrivals include three phones namely Portégé G450, G710 and G910.

The G710 features a QWERTY keyboard, Windows Mobile standard 6, Dimensions: 115 x 62 x 13 mm. Moreover it also has QVGA (480×800), 65k color TFT 2.46-inch, 2 Megapixel camera with 8x zoom. Users will be offered connectivity options such as Infrared, Bluetooth and USB.

It supports micro SD card up to 2GB and GPS. For the entertainment of the users the phone also has audio formats like MP3, WMA Audio: MP3, WMA and video formats like H.263, H.264, MPEG4, WMV Video: H.263, H.264, MPEG4, WMV.

The Portégé G450 looks very similar to the HSM 180, which was launched at CES. Toshiba’s phone is capable of 3G Internet over HSDPA and UMTS in Europe. Furthermore it features voice calls, SMS and alarm clock with OLED display 96×39 pixels.

The Portégé G910 is a flip-open smartphone that is powered by Windows Mobile standard 6. It features 2 Megapixel VGA camera and memory of 256MB ROM, RAM 128MB. Considering the needs of business professionals, the G910 offers connectivity options like Bluetooth 2.0, USB and WiFi. A fingerprint reader is provided to keep the stored data safe.

All the three phones are expected to arrive in the European market by March.
