The curtains from the world’s most expensive mobile phone called iPhone Princess Plus, have been raised. This diamond studded beauty is dearly priced at €120,000 ($176,400 USD), which comes to around 7,153,902 INR. This luxurious handset has been developed by Austrian luxury designer and jeweler Peter Aloisson.

Diamond iPhone

Let’s check out the special diamond that made the iPhone so expensive. A total of 318 diamonds are studded into the phone, out of which 138 are Princess cut and 180 brilliant cut. It also comes with 17.75 carats of diamonds set in 18k white gold around its rim. Now, that is really eye-catching!

Wonder who would be so enthusiastic to pay such a huge amount for the Princess Plus. Surprisingly, there is one. A Russian businessman pre-ordered it in October 2007 and got its delivery in January 2008.

However, there’s also an option for the one who can’t shell out the above-mentioned hefty price – the iPhone with brilliant-cut diamonds, which would cost €45,000 ($66,150 USD).
