MP3 manufacturer iRiver has forayed into the mobile phone arena with the introduction of iRiver Wave.

Said to offer tough competition to the iPhone, the phone would sport a 3-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 480 x 272 pixels, Wi-Fi, a dictionary, media player that supports both video and audio, handwriting recognition software and the ability to access iTunes music stores such as the ‘Bug Music Service’.
