RIM brings BlackRBerry Pearl 8120 on T-Mobile

T-Mobile BlackBerry Pearl 8120 RIM has collaborated with T-Mobile to roll out the Wi-Fi-enabled BlackBerry Pearl 8120 in the US market. This device offers Wi-Fi connectivity for both voice and data, T-Mobile’s HotSport@ Home service for unlimited, nationwide calling via any accessible Wi-Fi connection along with in-home coverage. Users can enjoy personal and corporate e-mail functions.

Available in titanium-colored finish, the sleek smartphone sports a 2.0 megapixel digital camera with 5x zoom, stereo Bluetooth, microSD/SDHC memory card slot and 3.5 stereo headset jack with enhanced media player. It comes with the company’s SureType keyboard system with word completion, incorporated spelling checker and a user-customizable dictionary for easy and fast operations.

With the high-speed USB, users can transfer data between PC and mobile phones at up to 10mbps. Moreover, 8120 also comes with an intuitive user interface with an easy-to-use trackball, 240×260 display with light-sensing technology for brightness adjustments, Speaker Independent Voice Recognition for Voice Activated Dialing, BlackBerry maps and quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE/Wi-Fi network support for international roaming.

Customers can purchase the RIM BlackBerry Pearl 8120 smartphone from 14th April via T-Mobile. No word on the pricing yet.
