Blackberry Curve Launched in India

Blackberry Curve Research in Motion (RIM) has introduced its latest smartphone model called Blackberry Curve in India yesterday.

The Blackberry Curve is known to be the smallest and lightest headset having QWERTY keypad. It measures 107mm x 60mm x 15.5mm and weighs 111g. Moreover, this latest smartphone features 2MP camera, with 5x digital zoom and built-in flash. Also multimedia features are included with the help of a 3.5mm jack in the Curve.

Other than the above mentioned features, the Blackberry Curve packs in:

  • An extendable microSD card Slot
  • Speaker Independent Voice Recognition (SIVR) for Voice Activated Dialing (VAD)
  • Bluetooth 2.0 support for wireless headsets
  • Spell checker with a user-customizable dictionary
  • Besides the Curve supports to Blackberry Internet Service which gives users an access to up to 10 work or personal email accounts also Blackberry Enterprise Server, enabling advanced security and IT administration within IBM, Lotus, Domino, Microsoft Exchange and Novell Groupwise environments.

    The Blackberry Curve will exclusively be available from Hutch and Airtel at the estimated price of Rs. 24,990.
