LG Trax Music Mobile Phone introduced by AT&T and LG

LG Trax Music Phone Today, AT&T and LG together announced the availability of the LG’s Trax Music mobile device with AT&T Mobile Music.

Trax has worked on music and video content over-the-air that will be provided to the customers via AT&T wireless. The multi-purpose cell phone delivers music services such as Napster and eMusic.

Carlton Hill, vice president of Product Management for AT&T’s wireless unit, said “The Trax by LG is more than a music phone. With top notch video and data capabilities, in addition to a sleek design, this device will hot the right note with many of our customers.”

The music phone can also support AT&T’s other music services that are introduced recently with MobiTV and XM Radio Mobile. It also provides the Music ID application to identify the songs being heard on radio.

“The Trax by LG offers AT&T customers an extremely functional music phone with a cutting-edge design,” says Ehtisham Rabbani, vice president of product strategy and marketing for LG Electronics. “Features such as CV and the ability to sync music from Napster, eMusic and Yahoo! Music make trax an excellent phone for the convergence of communication and entertainment.”

Apart from music, Trax also features a 65k color TFT with 176×220 resolution main display, a 65k color TFT with 128×160 resolution sub-display, 1.3 mega pixel camera, and up to 4GB of microSD memory card port.

  • With the in-camera photo editing, consumers can rotate, resize and crop photos on the mobile itself. Users can also add text into the images. Moreover, users can make their own virtual cards with the photo editor function. All you need to do it insert text and frames to create an instant mobile greeting card.

    The thin-profiled clamshell phone also comes with the Music ID song-recognition software, music videos and The Buzz music news portal.

    The LG Trax Music Phone is available from today through selected AT&T retail stores at the price of $129.99 (approx. Rs. 5200) with a two-year service agreement.
