Motorola seems to be in a festive mood, as it’s busy releasing a huge range of mobile devices. First it was the U9, then the W series phones, now comes the V8 luxury edition, called the RAZR2 in gold-plated accents and snake-line skin.
The ultra-slim designed luxury phone features 2.2-inch internal display, 2-inch external display with dedicated music keys, 2.0 megapixel camera with 8x digital zoom, Windows Media Player 11 and 2GB of microSD cards for up to 1,000 songs.
In addition, the luxury phone comes equipped with the company’s CrystalTalk technology and Quadband GSM support. The new RAZR2 device has the ability to deliver 2 hours of video capture and playback with 8 hours of talk time. It also sports Opera Mobile Browser 8.5 that provides full HTML browsing, USB 2.0 and Bluetooth.
A wired stereo headset for music enjoyment, a matching patent leather carrying case with mini strap and a polishing cloth are bundled with the latest special edition of the RAZR2.
Available in limited quantities, the Motorola RAZR2 Luxury Edition phone is expected to sell for between $250-300 (approx. Rs. 10,000-12,000) and will be available in Q4 of 2007.
