WE bought a D600 PDA on 21/07/07 from Mahesh Telecom in Mulund(West) Bombay.It is not even 2 months ,the set/battery is getting heated up and the charge does not last long and erratically runs out.We are from Chennai and our contact number is 28341974.My son ,Sriram who uses the phone has found it risky to use /carry the phone.While you have a service center in Chennai I thought it fit to bring this issue before you.It is not as though you will always be hearing praise.Mine is not a ‘Bouquet’.How you propose to handle this complaint I am eager to know.This is similar to the recent fiasco that took place in respect of NOKIA sets.

I recently got a DOPOD c720w. I use Hutch Postpaid GPRS, but inspite of the handset maker claiming it to be GPRS/EDGE supporting, Hutch (Maharashtra) simply raised their hands, saying that this phone is not compatible for GPRS! I am a telecom consultant myself, and it sounds funny to hear this in the world of completely standardized networks !! I have no clue how to go ahead, now, but if anyone facing a similar problem, got it resolved, kindly pass on the solution @ +91-9923799002.

I am looking for a Wifi card for my D600. Does anyone know of one(brand, online link etc.)? Also, does it fit into the SD card slot or is there another way too? Why I am asking this question is because I have my flash memory in that slot already, and this means I will have to remove that to put my Wifi card in.

DOPOD D600 will not use GPRS if you are an Vodafone user you need to request for an VMC activation its noting but Vodafone Mobile Connect its very simple send an request to [email protected] or comtact nearest out let it normaly takes 24 to 48 hours to get activated and you can choose different plans like 199 , 399 etc. Thats it the phone starts connecting and you can brows send mails etc … its simple.

DOPOD D 600 doesnt accept GPRS activation if you are an vodafone customer activate VMC ( Vodafone Mobile Connect) contact Customer care or the nearest out let it normaly takes 24 to 40 hours for activation after its done you can start browsing, chating etc its coool thats how i had activated.

I hv a dopd c720w, a lousy phone, charge holds less than 4 hours, cahrger itself is erratic, it failed already and am still to get a genuine replacement, only way to charge is by USB thru PC synch, I hv troble there as well, no car charger as genuine accessory avl in mkt. Picked this instrument for 27 k against a palm / ipaq & black berry a stupid decision. Poor phone functions as well. dont know if there is a legal recourse to sue DOPOD in India for poor performance issues. I recommend anyone to stay away from this brand. Poorest service set up. I have to use the money invested I still carry the piece with all inhibitions but carry a trusted nokia along if this piece fails.
