Withings has introduced the new Wi-Fi Body Scale, reports Gizmodo. This high-tech looking scale incorporates Wi-Fi functionality. The body scale enables users to view their fitness measurements on the iPhone.
The aim of this scale is to track the weight measurements of users. It also compares the recorded measurements to the ideal values, allowing users to evaluate their own improvement. This device will post all its findings on to a web dashboard from where it can be accessed via a free iPhone application.
This body scale is said to be useful for users who want to record and evaluate their progress. The device is capable of recording current weight as well as body fat measurements. The measurement of the scale is said to be accurate to 100g.
The Withings Wi-Fi Body Scale is now available for purchase and costs around $183 (approx. Rs. 8,870).
