The main highlight of the next-generation TotalMedia Theatre is support for Asus Xonar HDAV series audio card for true and lossless 7.1 channel output at home. Other attributes that makes the multimedia player a high-end device are enhanced video display results, robust Blu-ray interactive features support, DTS Surround Sensation Ultra PC capability and support for MKV, FLV and HE-AAC audio. Moreover, one more feature that will impress the users is the ability to directly play videos from camcorders and reproduce the ultimate movie-viewing images.
In a sleek and power-saving UI, the TotalMedia Theatre 3 offers support for enhanced Blu-ray interactive features such as BD Profile 1.0, Bonus View and BD-Live. Apart from that, it also packs in high hardware acceleration compatibility and Advanced De-Interlace (ADI), HDMI 1.3 pass-through support, Time Stretch and Auto-Resume function, HQV support and Auto Enhance audio feature.
Experiencing home theater-like audio while playing Blu-ray movies and high-definition multimedia files is possible with the help of Asus Xonar HDAV series audio card! That’s right; the card enables the player to support lossless digital audio pass-through, including DTS-HD Master Audio, Dolby TrueHD, and Dolby Digital Plus.
