Hewlett Packard announces to release its latest Color Laserjet printer in India, dubbed CM6040. Targeted at large businesses, the newly unveiled multifunctional printer (MFP) sports a feature-rich package including A3 printing, enhanced finishing options, robust security and the HP Easy Select Control Panel.
Desiged for large workgroups of up to 20 users, the CM6040 printer is based on the company’s ImageREt technology of up to 4800 dpi (600 x 600 dpi) that offers consistency in high quality and professional printing. It also supports up to 1200 x 600 dpi operating mode for defined and detailed printing. With the latest LaserJet MFP, users can print line work, high-gloss posters, complex spreadsheets, and architectural drawings.
By using the color access control features, users can even manage color toner usage, control costs and increase the operational efficiency. It also comes with the new generation HP ColorSphere toner to produce radiant, professional high quality results.

Claimed to be “Productivity-driven workhorse”, the HP Color Laserjet CM6040 boasts to deliver HP’s fastest A3 print speed of up to 40 pages-per-minute (ppm) for both colour and black-and-white. This reliable and easy-to-manage peripheral offers copy, scan and fax capabilities.
It is compatible with Microsoft Windows 2000, XP, Server 2003, Vista; Macintosh OS X v10.2.8 or later.
HP Color Laserjet CM6040 multifunctional printer is available in India. However, the pricing is not yet known.
