OCZ DIY Gaming Notebook

OCZ Technology has announced the launch of its latest gaming notebook, the 15.4-inch Do-It-Yourself (DIY). It is said to be the first 15-inch DIY notebook to work on the Intel Centrino 2 platform, including the all-new Intel Core 2 Extreme mobile processor.

Designed for gaming enthusiasts, the next generation laptop assures an optimal balance of gaming performance and portability. It is based on ATI Raedon HD3650 integrated graphics with 512MB of dedicated GDDR3 memory and features DirectX 10.1 compatibility to allow gamers to enjoy today’s most advanced and graphic-intensive games and applications.

The other features of OCZ DIY notebook include native resolution of 1280×800 pixels, up to 8 GB of dedicated GDDR2 memory, up to 500 GB of storage, HD surround sound, A4-sized keyboard with a Vista key and a 6-cell battery. It also comes with an option of a DVD writer or Blu-Ray player.
