Shuffle unveils Barebone X27D PC, boasting Intel Atom Dual-Core Processor 330

Shuttle Barebone X27D PC

Shuttle brings the Barebone X27D PC in the European market. It is said to be the first Shuttle barebone to work on an Intel Atom 330 Dual-Core processor. It ensures a passive cooling without a need of an CPU fan, thanks to the low waste heat that is generated from Intel Atom processor.

At just 7 cm in height, the Shuttle Barebone X27D runs on an Intel 945GC Express chipset and sports Gigabit-LAN, 6 channel audio, two monitor connectors, Serial ATA and support for up to 2GB DDR2 memory.

“The performance advantage of the two CPU cores with hyper-threading is almost imperceptible in the power consumption – a technical masterstroke. The work to be handled by the processor is intelligently shared across all the cores, enabling several applications to be used concurrently”, commented Tom Seiffert, Head of Marketing & PR at Shuttle Computer Handels GmbH.

Plus, the Barebone X27D supports any Slimline drive and even a hard disk or a robust Solid State Disk (SSD) in 2.5-incch format. In addition, the tiny PC also features six USB connectors and an external fanless 60 Watt power supply.

Based on Windows Vista operating system, the Shuttle Barebone X27D can be configured with turnkey complete solution to match individuals’ requirements.

The Shuttle Barebone X27D PC has hit the European stores from specialist retailers immediately for a suggested price of EUR 205 (approx. Rs. 12,840).
