Epson India has introduced EMP-S5 and EMP-X5, two new projectors in the Indian market. Both the projectors feature built-in speakers.
The Epson EMP-S5 and EMP-X5 are equipped with Epson’s proprietary 3LCD and E-TORL (Epson-Twin Optimize Reflection Lamp) lamp technology, which gives the images a smoother and more natural look.
Epson claims that both the projectors are energy conservative and consume just 231W of power. Moreover, the projectors automatically shut down if the A/V mute slide has been closed for 30 minutes.
Epson EMP-S5 and EMP-X5 feature an integrated tough security bar allowing Kensington lock mechanism. Thus projectors are protected against physical theft. Also, password protection is provided for safety against unauthorized use.
An A/V mute slide panel in front of the projectors’ lens is incorporated with the newly launched Epson projectors. When the projector needs to be temporarily suspended for breaks or talks to take place, the user can simply push the A/V mute slide to cover the lens to fully cut-off light source and reduce internal fan noise.
Especially for the mobile users, the projectors come with quick Start-Up time of five seconds and the Instant-Off function with zero cooling down time can be used to pack-and-go quickly.
The Epson EMP-S5 and X5 cost Rs. 45,100 and 61,400 respectively and will be available from June 2007 in the Indian market.
