Canon PIXMA-iP1880 Photo Printer Canon India Pvt. Limited, India’s No 1. Complete Digital Imaging Company, has unveiled the PIXMA iP1880 photo printer, which boasts of high functionality, a high style proportion and ease in use.

The iP1880 photo printer delivers a high print speed and photo-lab quality print-outs. The glossy black finish and attractive design photo printer ensures superior quality prints by delivering microscopic ink droplets as small as two picoliters at up to 4800 x 1200 dpi color resolution through Canon’s FINE (Full-Photolithography Inkjet Nozzle Engineering) print head technology.

The PIXMA iP1880 is also very user friendliness and technologically advanced to give superior quality fast photo-prints and clear documents. For easy use and replacement, the photo printer provides ‘one touch mounting’ hybrid ink system consisting of only a dye color cartridge and a pigment black cartridge. It guarantees high clarity as well as neatness in documents thanks to pigment-based black ink that allows for darker and sharper text output. While its heightened marker stability does not allow to spread when using highlighter markers, making reading easier.

The printer can print a 4R borderless photograph in just 70 seconds. Furthermore, printing from 1,472 nozzles ensures speedy printing of documents, presentations and Web pages at up to 20 pages per minute (ppm) for monochrome and up to 16 ppm for color. The PIXMA iP1880 also uses the Canon ChromaLife100 system for preserving photos through the combination of genuine Canon dye inks and selected Canon photo papers and when stored in an archival quality photo album.

Canon is bundled with Canon Easy-PhotoPrint and Easy-LayoutPrint software for the first time users. This helps them in creating beautiful photo albums, personalized calendars and fun photo stickers.

The Canon PIXMA iP1880 photo printer is compatible with Windows 2000/XP and Mac OS X v10.2.8. It is even certified for Windows Vista. The printer is available at the price of Rs. 2,995/- and at all Canon authorized retail outlets.
