The HP Pavilion TouchSmart Sleekbook release date has been set for early February, while the 15.6-inch Pavilion Sleekbook will be available this month for a starting price of $650. Besides these laptops, the OEM has also introduced a wide range of IPS LED monitors which are slated to hit store shelves in the course of the next two months.
The Pavilion TouchSmart Sleekbook and the Pavilion Sleekbook acquire multitasking properties from an AMD A-Series APU and can even be customized with the AMD Radeon GPU for enhanced graphics. Each device is fitted with a 15.6-inch display that can render high definition visuals and the TouchSmart version is boasts of touch capabilities. A keyboard with separate numeric keyset has also been added to the mix.
Moreover, these HP laptops allow users to integrate an HDD of up to 1TB capacity and are powered by a removable battery that should keep it charged for a long time. There’s Dolby Advanced Audio for enhanced sound reproduction along with an HP TrueVision HD webcam and HP MyRoom to facilitate video conferencing. Its connectivity options are inclusive of an HDMI connector and USB 3.0 and 2.0 ports. Some of its other features are HP CoolSense, HP ProtectSmart, HP Connected Photo and more.
Besides the ProDisplay and LED Backlit monitor series, the company has introduced the Envy 27-inch IPS display which comes with built-in Beats Audio technology. The device can offer a wide viewing angle of up to 178 degrees and has upward-facing speakers which are said to be capable of delivering studio-quality sound. Outfitted with an aluminum base, the screen that measures merely 13.95mm at the top, flaunts edge-to-edge glass. The company has also embedded subwoofer, a digital audio output and a headphone jack in it.
Its Pavilion series is inclusive of IPS LED backlit 20xi, 21xi, 23xi, 25xi and 27xi monitors which are deployed with HP My Display software. The x2401 24-inch LED-backlit display has also made its debut with the U160 15.6-inch LED-backlit screen. And the HP ZR2330w variant claims to deliver a business-class performance at a wallet-friendly price.
The HP Pavilion Sleekbook and the TouchSmart Sleekbook will be available for $479.99 (approx. Rs. 26,545) and $649.99 (approx. Rs. 35,945) on January 13 and February 3, respectively. The HP ENVY 27-inch monitor costs $499 (approx. Rs. 27,595), while the other monitors can be purchased for anywhere between $129 (approx. Rs. 7,135) and $339.99 (approx. Rs. 18,800).
