14- and 15-inch Vizio Thin + Light and 15-inch Notebook unleashed

Vizio Thin Plus Light

With the arrival of the Vizio Thin + Light devices inspired by the Ultrabook and the 15-inch Notebook, the company goes on to claim that ‘power, design and entertainment can flawlessly co-exist in a PC.’ These Windows 7 based portable PCs are complete with the latest generation Intel Core processors, that should ensure faster multitasking properties.

The stylishly designed Notebook with beveled edges and a soft-touch interior, is constructed using anodized aluminum unibody aesthetics. This multimedia-ready device employs a 15.6-inch full HD 1080p display and a concealed cooling system that negates the need for grills and fans. Its long battery life and SRS Premium Sound HD should keep users entertained on the move.

“PCs haven’t always been made with design at the forefront. While customers want an elegant, multi-purpose device capable of executing tasks and flawlessly delivering entertainment, some PCs still look like mundane work machines. Vizio is passionate about innovation, design and the user experience. We listened to consumers and created a line of PCs that deliver on productivity but are also uncompromisingly clean, stylish and sophisticated,” said Matt McRae, Chief Technology Officer, Vizio.

Vizio Notebook

The sleek and responsive Thin + Light notebooks available in screen sizes of 14 inches and 15.6 inches, take merely a few seconds to boot up. Boasting of long battery lives, these devices are carved out to flaunt a durable anodized aluminum unibody design. Their entertainment features are inclusive of SRS Premium Sound HD and if the HD displays with wide viewing angles are not enough, users can utilize the HDMI output to project content on big screen HDTVs.

The Vizio Thin + Light and Vizio Notebook prices start at around $898 (approx. Rs. 49,700). They are available for pre-order through the official website.
