GScreenCorp SpaceBook laptop featuring dual displays

GScreenCorp SpaceBook Laptop

The GScreenCorp SpaceBook laptop is probably the first of its kind to break the traditional mold and sport an altogether different design. Let’s admit that in spite of a laptop’s portability, most of us would prefer the big screen of a desktop. And guess what? The latest device to hit markets seems to possess both the portability factor of a laptop and the big screen like a desktop.

The key attraction of this notebook is its big screen which is actually a combination of two screens, 17-inch each. The full HD displays with resolutions of 1920 x 1080 slide out from the center smoothly. The LED glass displays are available in options of glossy and matte finish. It is encased in a stylishly finished magnesium alloy frame.

“A few years ago I was working on a film project in Hawai’i and realized that I was going to have to move my entire desktop setup down there from my home in Anchorage to get the computing power and screen real-estate I needed. That hassle made me realize that I couldn’t be the only one who needed a powerful laptop with massive screen size, so I set out to build one,” informed Gordon Stewart, GScreenCorp’s CEO and the father of the SpaceBook.

The two variants of the laptop namely 4G and 8G are equipped with Intel i5 processor and Intel i7 quad processor, respectively. The former is powered by a 4GB DDR3 RAM and the latter by 8GB DDR3 RAM. Both laptops employ Nvidia GeForce GTS 250M 1GB Discrete GPU for enhanced graphics. Also, present in these laptops are 500GB hard drives.

The GScreenCorp SpaceBook 4G laptop is priced at $2395 (approx. Rs. 1,06,800) while the 8G laptop carries a price tag of $2795 (approx. Rs. 1,24,627). They can now be pre-ordered from the GScreen official website.
