The slim and sleek Acer Aspire S3 Ultrabook packed with ‘path-breaking features’ is gearing up for its debut in India. Introduced about a month ago, this ultra responsive device featuring Green Instant On and Instant Connect offers a long battery life while cutting down the power consumption.
The 1.3cm thin gadget tips the scale at less than 1.4kg and features a smooth metallic framework made of aluminum and magnesium alloy. It employs the Acer FineTip chiclet keyboard and is fitted with a 13.3-inch ultra-thin HD LED display. Capable of supporting up to second generation Intel Core i7 processor, it can be deployed with a 240GB SSD or an HDD of up to 500GB capacity.
“With the launch of the Acer Aspire S3 Ultrabook, we have charted a new line of course to the mobile computing world by effortlessly combining the essential features of both a notebook and a tablet. The Aspire S3 Ultrabook will provide newer computing experience to users and we believe this is a major milestone in the history of Acer’s product development roadmap,” quoted S. Rajendran, Chief Marketing Officer, Acer India.
Additionally, the Acer Aspire S3 Ultrabook is equipped with the Acer Crystal Eye 1.3MP camera and microphone to facilitate video conferencing and recording. Dolby Home Theater v4 delivers cinema-like audio quality. Besides an HDMI output, the portable PC comes with a 2-in-1 card reader which supports SDT as well as MultiMedia Card. The connectivity options of the Ultrabook are inclusive of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
The Acer Green Instant On makes the device energy efficient along with providing swift response. It is said to offer a battery life of about 50 days which is longer than the power life of most mobile phones. Moreover, the Acer Instant Connect claims to offer access to the internet in about 2.5 seconds.
The price of the Acer Aspire S3 Ultrabook starts at Rs. 49,999.
