HP designed its TouchSmart tm2t series of notebooks with BrightView LED touchscreen featuring 1280 x 800p resolution. Now, the company has unboxed its G series notebook PC line in India with two new models, the G62 and the G42. Power packed with excellent features, these latest notebooks are elegantly crafted with sophistication.
Business professionals can choose from the devices’ subtle yet chic shades which are portrayed in the option of charcoal grey, velvet red and imperial blue HP Imprint finishes. Boasting of under 1.24-inch thickness, the G series notebooks’ weight starts from 2.2 kilos. Their ergonomic pocket-sized keyboard with flush touchpad puts forth an intuitive and simple-to-use input interface. Both the products are fabricated with a fingerprint-less design and EPEAT registered.

With the launch of G-Series notebooks, we are providing a power packed and performance loaded computing experience to one and all,†explained Vinay Awasthi, Director, Personal Systems Group, HP India.
The HP notebooks come with a 14- or 15.4-inch BrightView LED display for improved multimedia performance. Owners can now flawlessly surf the web, check email, video call with the help of its webcam as well as enjoy music on its Altec Lansing audio speakers. Incorporated with up to 750GB storage capacity, the G62 model offers space for storing users’ work data, music, photos and other content. Besides, the trendy devices render up to 5.5 hours of battery life using a 6-cell battery. The G series equips Intel Core i3 or i5 processors which enable users to multi-task and increase productivity when on the go.
The new Hewlett-Packard G Series is expected to be available across India this month and tagged with a starting price of Rs. 34,500, excluding taxes.
