After having released the ID49 and ID59 series of notebooks, Gateway has something more to offer to the world of technology. The company has introduced the LT23 series netbook that is designed in what appears to be a mosaic-like woven pattern. Apart from the the fashionable exterior, this device is only about 1” thin.

The netbook in this series has been fitted with a 10.1” LCD LED back-lit display exhibiting a resolution of about 1024 x 600p. Users are offered an internal memory of about 1GB along with a 250GB HDD. The device is powered by the Intel Atom N450 processor and run on 6-cell 4400mAh battery that lasts for about 8 hours.

Users can connect to a host of gadgets like MP3 players, cameras, printers and so on with three USB 2.0 ports, Ethernet and VGA as well as a multi-in-one digital card reader. The W-Fi 802.11b/g/n capabilities of this series allow users to access the web and make VOIP calls wirelessly. By hitting on the social networking button, users can upload photos, share videos and manage their accounts on different sites online.

The built-in HD webcam lets users avail of video conferencing facility and capture special moments. The gadget features pinch to zoom technology and enables browsing through websites and playlists by moving fingers in a circular motion on the multi-gesture touchpad. Users can also flip through pictures, documents and more by moving two fingers on the screen.

The LT23 series is available in three colors, namely champagne, pearl and black. The netbook weighs about 2.76 pounds and is available at a retail price starting from about $329.99(approx. Rs. 15,280).
