If the wait for upcoming Tron: Legacy movie is getting unbearable by the day, then this news might bring in some relief. Disney has brought in a line up toys and electronics bearing a design inspired by the movie. The toys include action figures, vehicles and a cycle whereas the electronics include headphones as well as an iPod dock from Monster, Razer peripherals, controllers and Apple accessories from PDP.

The Tron action figures integrate impulse projection technology that gives them a lifelike appearance with lit-up and moving faces on the helmet. The toys measure 7.5” and include a special 12” Ultimate Sam Flynn figure. The characters have been designed to speak out the dialogues from the film. The range has been designed for kids ranging from 4 years and above.

Tron core and deluxe vehicles have been given almost exact resemblance to the cars in the film. As soon as a character is inserted in the car, both the car as well as the car light up. The deluxe range of cars come with tri-color light changes, launching projectiles, gravity tilt sounds and pop-up air brakes as shown in the movie. The cars have been made to suit the age group of 4 years and above.

Additionally, the company has revealed the Tron zero gravity light cycle has been equipped with a 6ft illuminated trail as well as Air Hogs technology. The technology lets the cycle to be driven on the wall or even upside. The cycle comes with controllers and has been designed for ages starting from 8 years and up.

The price of the Tron action figures range between $15 (approx. Rs. 690) and $40 (approx. Rs. 1,860) and can be expected to be available from this holiday season. The Tron core and deluxe vehicles maybe purchased for $14.99 (approx. Rs. 700) and $19.99 (approx. Rs. 930), respectively. The Tron zero gravity light cycle is expected to cost around $34.99 (approx. Rs. 1,630).

As for the line of electronics, it has been crafted for gamers on the hunt for a high performance gameplay. Disney has collaborated with Monster to produce Tron headphones and an iPod dock. The Tron T1 over-ear headphones are designed to deliver a high-performance with the Advanced Noise Suppression technology and ControlTalk Universal feature. It should allow easier and clearer hands-free calling. The iPod dock has been inspired by the iconic data disk shown in the movie.

In addition, the company has joined hands with Razer to bring in Tron: Legacy inspired gaming peripherals that include a detachable gaming keyboard with programmable keys. It also offers an ergonomic gaming mouse which is equipped with Razer’s 5600dpi 3.5g gaming grade sensor along with the mouse pad and macro capabilities. The products have been constructed with lighting effects and finishes to enhance the gameplay.

Tron game controllers and Apple accessories have been brought in by Disney and PDP. The controllers incorporate perforated details, light-up accents and have been fabricated to encourage an improved performance. The controllers for the PS3 and Xbox 360 come with corded precision parts and vibration support while the controller for Wii gaming consoles is wireless. They will be available with the release of Tron: Evolution video game. PDP has also revealed plans to introduce a line of Tron inspired iPod, iPhone and iPad cases.

The company will also bring in apparel and accessories for men and women and other Tron inspired merchandise in coming fall at the Comic Con event. The Tron headphones have been priced at $349.99 (approx. Rs. 16,270) whereas the iPod dock can be purchased at $99.99 (approx. Rs. 4,650). The range of Razer peripherals offered by Disney is expected to cost from $79 (approx. Rs. 3,670) to $139 (approx. Rs. 6,460). The gaming controllers can be picked up for about $49.99 (approx. Rs. 2,320) each.
