ViewSonic unleashes nine new PCs at CES

Expectedly, companies have been pulling out all stops for the CES 2010. ViewSonic has launched an arsenal new PCs at the event. The line-up comprises of the VNB131 ViewBook Pro notebook, VNB132 and VNB141 ViewBooks, VNB105 ViewBook netbook, VPC190 all-in-one desktop PC and VOT125 mini ULV series PC.

The 13.3” VNB131 notebook runs with Windows 7 Home Premium and is powered by Intel’s ULV SU7300 Core 2 Duo processor. It offers 2GB internal memory 320GB HDD. Its features comprise of in-built 802.11b/g/n wireless, two USB 2.0 ports, 7-in-1 card reader, two USB ports, HDMI and VGA connections. It comes with a removable DVD RW Super Multi ODD, 6-cell battery as also an extra 3-cell battery for additional battery life.

The VNB132 and VNB141 ViewBooks measure 13.3” and 14” and come with Windows 7 Home Premium, 2GB RAM, 320GB HDD, 802.11b/g/n wireless connectivity and VGA/HDMI outputs. The VNB141 houses an Intel ULV SU2300 Celeron processor, whereas the VNB141holds the latest ULV SU7300 Core 2 Duo processor. The latter also integrates a 1.3MP webcam, 6-cell battery and DVD RW Super Multi ODD.

The 10” VNB105 ViewBook netbook possesses an Intel Atom processor and comes with the Windows 7 Starter OS. It offers 1GB RAM and a 160GB HDD. Other mentioned features include a floating keyboard, 802.11b/g/n connectivity, three USB 2.0 ports and a 6-cell battery.

The VPC190 is an 18.5” all-in-one PC housing an Intel Atom D510 Dual Core processor with Windows 7 Home Premium OS. It integrates a 1.3MB webcam, 2GB RAM, DVD RW Super Multi drive and six USB 2.0 ports. The PC offers 10/100 Ethernet and 802.11b/g wireless and incorporates a 4-in-1 card reader.

The VOT125 PC mini ULV PC comes with Microsoft’s Windows 7 Home Premium OS, 2GB RAM and a 160G BHDD. It possesses four USB 2.0 ports, 3-in-1 card reader, DVI-I and HDMI outputs. Buyers can select from a Single Core SU743 Celeron for $499 (approx. Rs.22,723), Dual Core SU2300 Celeron at $529 (approx. Rs.24,090), Pentium SU4100 Dual Core at $629 (approx. Rs.26,644) or Core 2 Duo SU7300 Dual Core at $679 (approx. Rs.30,929) processor.

ViewSonic’s VNB131 ViewBook Pro will be out next month at $949 (approx. Rs.43,231). The VNB132, VNB141 and VNB105 will be available in March 2010 for $649 (approx. Rs.29,554), $829 (approx. Rs.37,749) and $399 (approx. Rs.18,174), respectively. The VPC190 will hit shelves in March at $599 (approx. Rs.27,286).
