Asus silently unveils Eee PC 1002H with Atom N280

Asus Eee PC 1002H Asus has made an inaudible launch of its latest computing device, dubbed the Eee PC 1002H.

The main highlight of the newly and silently released notebook is the inherent Intel Atom N280 1.66GHz processor.

Other features of the Eee PC 1002H include a 10-inch WSVGA display with 1024 x 600 pixels of resolution, 1GB of DDR2 memory and a combined 160GB hard-drive and 10GB of online Eee Storage.

It stands at 264 x 181 x 27.6mm and weighs 1.2kg. Inspite of the small form factor, the system covers a lot many features that would lure users for internet surfing and entertainment.
Connectivity wise, it supports standard WiFi b/g/n and Bluetooth 2.0+EDR. Further, it also comes with a VGA output, three USB 2.0 ports, an ethernet port, audio in/out and a multiformat memory-card reader.

More attributes that add flavor to the laptop are a 1.3-megapixel webcam, digital microphone array and stereo speakers. It also comes embedded with a one-key (F9) system recovery mode that lends back up and makes the system run again after serious crashes.

It sports the keyboard which is of 92-percent full-size, a multi-touch trackpad and a new Dr Eee application for voice-control of slide-shows and application launches.
There is no word on the pricing and availability details of the Asus Eee PC 1002H till now.
