Clevo, a notebook computer manufacturer, is in news after a long time. The company has hit back in the UMPC arena with a bang by introducing a sublime designed touch panel gadget.
According to Slashgear, Clevo introduces an ultra-mobile PC that is termed as the TN70M, featuring every function that consumers’ desire from a compact computing device.
Powered by the 1.33GHz Atom Z520 CPU (optional Intel Atom Z540 1.86GHz), it sports a 7-inch touchscreen display that provides a resolution of 800 x 480pixels, an accelerometer for screen orientation changes, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and optional WLAN. Consumers can easily and conveniently connect to the world, explore the internet and access e-mails with instant messages.
Boasting to deliver the most sensational and unparalleled computing experience, the 904g UMPC is equipped with up to 1GB of RAM, two USB 2.0 ports, 5-in-1 memory card reader, VGA, audio in/out and Ethernet. There is even an ExpressCard slot and an internal MiniCard slot along with Kensington Lock and a fingerprint reader.
It supports Windows Vista and XP operating systems and works on a 4-cell 5,200mAh battery.
The Clevo TN70M ultra-mobile PC is priced at $623.64 (approx. Rs. 29,729). However, there is no word on the release date.
